Port Crèche

Located next to the Garonne between a warehouse district and a shopping centre, the whole crèche faces a remarkable avenue of existing sycamore trees that extends into the garden, providing pleasant shade during the summer. A perimeter wall that is as opaque and as open as possible runs around the crèche, marking the boundary between the public area and the crèche's protected enclosure. The long atrium with sliding panels connects the early-learning rooms with the enclosed garden, allowing greater flexibility of use of the rooms for the children.
